The monumental yet elegant Passage houses a charming little bookshop: The English Bookstore. It’s more or less across from its big Dutch cousin Boekhandel De Vries Van Stockum – a centuries-old local bookstore.

The English Bookstore is neither specifically UK nor US centered, but rather intended as a home-away-from-home for all people who – for whatever reason – prefer to read English books.
